Justice Sam Nariman Variava

Justice Sam Nariman Variava, L.L.M. - Born on 8th November, 1940. Enrolled as an Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 22nd June, 1964. Mainly practised on the Original side of the High Court. Also appeared in the Bombay City Civil Court. Also worked as a partr time Professor of Law in the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Bombay. Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court with effect from 21.11.1986. Appointed permanent Judge from 12.6.1987. Appointed as Chief Justice of Delhi High Court w.e.f. 25.5.1999. He was appointed Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 15 March, 2000.
