Justice N N Goswamy

Justice Narinder Nath Goswamy, B.A., LL.B - Born on 28.2.1929. Enrolled Pleader in 1953. Enrolled Advocate in Feb. 1956. Enrolled Advocate of the Supreme Court in 1959. Practised in the Punjab High Court from 1956-1968 and conducted many important cases. Secretary and Member of the Executive Committee of the Punjab High Court Bar Association for a number of years. In June, 1968, he shifted the venue of his practice from Chandigarh to Delhi and appeared in many important cases in Supreme Court and Delhi High Court. He was on the panel of the Advocates for the State of Haryana as also for the State of Punjab in the Supreme Court for over seven years and had the opportunity to appear in many cases. In January, 1976, appointed as Central Government Pleader. Appointed additional Judge of the High Court of Delhi w.e.f. 25.7.1978. Appointed permanent Judge on 11.9.1981. Retired on 28.2.1991.
