Justice S N Kapoor

Justice S.N. Kapoor , M. Com , LLB, born on 28.05.1941. Called to the Bar on 20th July, 1964 and practised for two and half years in the District Courts and Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court at Lucknow. Functioned as a Judicial Magistrate from 11.1.1967 to 10.1.1969 and was selected in the U.P.P.C.S.(Judicial) on 11.1.1969. Joined the Delhi Judicial Service on 3.12.1971 and was promoted to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service on 11.12.1979. Worked as Registrar, High Court of Sikkim from 12th August, 1981 to 20th June, 1982, and thereafter worked as Additional District Judge in Delhi. Worked as Member-Secretary Delhi Legal Aid and Advice Board from 7.6.1985. Worked as Additional District and Sessions Judge Delhi from 12th August, 1986 to 14th May, 1993, in different courts in Delhi and New Delhi. From 15th May, 1993 worked as Incharge Additional District and Sessions Judge, Shahdara, Delhi. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on 9.4.1996 and permanent Judge on 9.4.1998. Retired on 28.5.2003.
