Justice Charanjit Talwar

Born on 28th April, 1928. Enrolled Advocate on 31st October, 1960 in the Punjab High Court. Appointed Counsel for Employeess State Insurance Corporation in 1962. Government Counsel for conducting criminal cases on behalf on the Delhi Administration during the period from 1972 to October, 1976 and July, 1977 to November 1977. Legal Adviser to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Hindustan Times Ltd. & Counsel for the Indian School Certificate Examination. Member of the Bar Council, Delhi for two terms from January, 1969 to November, 1978 and member of the Executive Committee of the High Court Bar Association in 1968-69. Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council for four years. Legal Correspondent to the Hindustan Times since 1968. Additional Judge, Delhi High Court from 19-10-1979 (A.N.). Due to retire on 28-04-1999.
